Machupicchu, Wacrapucara, Lake Titicaca and Tiahuanaco, Bolivia

Day 1: September 21

Arrive in Lima in the morning and connect with a flight to Cusco- a sacred city and cosmic entry point of expansion. Time to acclimate and visit Coricancha, the Golden temple of the Sun.

Overnight at Hotel La Encantada, located in the artisan neighborhood of san Blas with a breathtaking view of Cusco city.

Day 2: September 22

AM. travel by car to Urco, Pisaq and Ollantaytambo, known for its ancient ruins and original  pre-Incan cobblestone streets and waterways.

Day 3: September 23

A.M. to Machupicchu by trainP.M. Explore Machupicchu , one of the wonders of the world, a sanctuary built in alignment with the cosmos.

Overnight : Hotel Presidente in MP town.

Day 4: September 24

Back to Ollantaytambo by train. Visit ancient sites NAUPA IGLESIA and KILLARUMIYOQTemple of the Moon.

Day 5: September 25

Free day to explore Cusco city.

Day 6: September 26

AM Cusco to Acomayo by car 3 hours.Beautiful landscapes ; stopping at Pomacanchi lake. Time for healing and meditation.

Day 7: September 27

Journey to Wakra Pukara : Temple of the Deer Antler or literal meaning in Quechua is Horned Fortess.. Built high above the Apurimac river with breathtaking views and an untouched masterpiece  of Incan hour by car and two hours by horse.

Exploration and meditation.

PM Back to Acomayo town by horse and car.

Overnight Hone hostel. meals included.

Day 8: September 28

AM to Puno. Early departure to an ancient Queswachaca Inkan bridge.Lunch and then to Pucara.

Day 9: September 29

Full day traveling to Copacabana en route to  Lake Titicaca , Island of the Sun.

We cross the border into Bolivia and take a 2 hour private boat ride. Legendary, magnificent, serene, other-worldly are only a few adjectives that describe this place.

Overnight Hosteria las Islas.

Day 10: September 30

Meditation and healing as we walk back to the water fountains and then by boat visit the Temple of the Moon…Ceremony to honor the feminine.

3 hour car ride to LaPaz Bolivia.

DAY 11: October 1

Early departure to Tiawanaco.. an incredibly important remnant of a very ancient culture. Some archeo-astronomers date this 10,000+ years old.. It is a true architectural masterpiece.

Explore and meditate.

PM  We cross the border and return to Puno. Enroute we will visit Amarumuro, gateway and temple of the Spirit. Meditation and healing.

Day 12: October 2

Transfer to airport   Flight Juliaca -Lima- JFK  *** for those going to USA.

Overnight at Lima Hostel.

Day 13: October 3

AM car to Mollepata ; mountain town at the foot of Salkantay.

En route we will visit Tarawasi, ancient site. We rest, download our journey thus far and meditate.

PM.. explore Mollepata community.

Overnight: El Pedregal Lodge

Day 14: October 4

1 hour car ride as we travel to Salkantay.. in Quechua means ” wild feminine”.

Here we pay homage to one of the most sacred of mountains in all of the Andes.

Connection, healing and meditation.

Overnight at Hotel la Encantada.

Day 15: October 5

AM free time in Cusco.

PM transfer to Airport in the evening and connect to Lima- JFK

Your Guides

Eleanora Amendolara: The founder of the Sacred Center and the creator of the Chumpi Illumination healing system, Eleanora has been visiting Peru since the mid-1990s. Her heart was thrown wide open as she traced her way through ancient temples, meditated on mountain tops, and experienced visions at the edges of lagoons.

Simply being in the presence of the Q’ero elders and the indigenous peoples taught her about how to exist in true harmony with all that is. She constantly works to root that sense of harmony at the Sacred Center in Warwick, NY and inspire her students and clients to discover their own connection to Spirit and to the Greater Reality.

Natasha Amendolara: The trip administrator and “go to” person. She is a Creative Arts Therapist who has traveled with Eleanora on six journeys to three of the major sacred mountains including Ausangate, Salkantay, and Hatun Urqi.

Rulianov “Ruli” Ramirez Rios: Our indigenous guide,Ruli was born in Acomayo. Fluent in Quechua, the temples and Apus were his playground as a child. He has been part of Eleanora’s expeditions for over ten years.
