ITINERARY
ARRIVAL DELHI
Arrival at the Delhi airport, you will be received by our representative and they will assist with your check-in to the hotel. Rest of the evening is free for leisure.
DELHI - NAUKUCHIATAL
After breakfast, leave for Naukuchia Taal by surface. A beautiful lake surrounded by beautiful flora. Soak in the peace and quiet of this lesser-known oasis. Upon arrival check-in to the hotel. The Rest of the evening is free for leisure.
NAUKUCHIATAL
After breakfast, visit Explore Naukuchia Taal's natural beauty more thoroughly. Hiking, birdwatching, or simply taking in the tranquility and Take a boating trip or just unwind by the lakeside. The Rest of the evening is free for leisure.
NAUKUCHIATAL - JAGESHWAR
After breakfast, leave for Jageshwar and in route visit Kainchi Dham; a Hanuman temple & Ashram which was established by a great Saint Shri Neem Karoli Baba in 1960s. This enchanting spiritual centre is elegantly designed to blend in with the serence surroundings & offers the ideal setting connecting with nature.
Upon arrival in Jageshwar check-in to the hotel. Later in the evening, if time permits, we will venture in the shade of alpine trees to Moksh Dham Ashram, which used to be home to Teeth Mahraj Ji, one of the revered Himalayan sages who lived for more than 120 years.
JAGESHWAR
After breakfast, visit Jageshwar Dham, a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva encircled by a lush Deodar forest with a stream running through its garden. Participate in an agni yagya (fire ritual) and carry out temple ceremonies. The temple complex is well-known for housing 124 minor and major temples dating back to the ninth century AD.
Additionally, we'll stop by the adjacent Dandeshwar (Kuber) Temple, where Lord Shiva is worshipped while in the Shayan Mudra; as a result, there isn't a lingam inside, only a rock that resembles a resting position.
Afterwards, take a small hike uphill to Vriddha Jageshwar Temple. The idol inside is referred as the Old Shiva, it is believed that the temple was Shiva's abode before he descended to Jageshwar. It's an ideal place for meditation because of the constant tranquillity it radiates.
JAGESHWAR - DUNAGIRI
After breakfast, leave for Dunagiri and upon arrival check-in to the hotel. Later visit Dunagiri Temple dedicated to Goddess Durga. It is situated atop a hill in the midst of the Kumaon Himalayas and is considered to be one of the most spiritually significant temples in the region.
DUNAGIRI (BABA JI'S CAVE)
Today we will visit Mahavatar Babaji cave; a spiritual cave in the Kumaon region of the Himalayas. It is believed to be the origin of Kriya Yoga and where Guru Lahiri Mahasaya Param Guru of Paramahansa Yogananda got its Kriya Yoga teachings directly from Mahavatar Babaji the at his cave in Uttarakhand India. The rest of the evening is free for leisure.
DUNAGIRI - DEVPRAYAG
After breakfast, leave for Devprayag. Upon arrival check-in to the hotel. There is a river bank with 250 years old banyan trees, if time permits, we will visit these and take in the nature. The rest of the evening is free for leisure.
DEVPRAYAG
After breakfast, visit Devprayag temple. The last Prayag or the holy confluence of the Alaknanda River, from beyond this point the confluence of Alaknanda and Bhagirathi River is known as Ganga. The rest of the evening is free for leisure.
DEVPRAYAG - RISHIKESH
After breakfast, leave for Rishikesh. Upon arrival check-in to the hotel. In the evening walk through the banks of river Ganga and participate in Ganga Aarti (fire offering ritual).
RISHIKESH (HARIDWAR EXCURSION)
After breakfast, visit Vashistha Cave, where a great sage used to meditate in the formation of the Vedas. An ideal place for meditation.
Later evening, visit Har ki Pauri, a revered set of Ghats on the banks of the Ganges that many regard as the path to the nectar of the gods. The rest of the evening is free for leisure.
RISHIKESH - DEHLI
After breakfast, leave for Dehradun Airport to board the flight for Delhi. Upon arrival check-in to the hotel. The rest of the evening is free for leisure.

End of journey for those not continuing to the extension.

EXTENDED JOURNEY… KATHMANDU:
DELHI - KATHMANDU, flight
After breakfast, leave for the airport to board the flight for Kathmandu.
Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel. Later, visit Budhanilkantha Temple. Situated near the foothills of the Shivpuri Hills, in this temple, Lord Narayan (Vishnu) is in a sleeping stance. In the evening you are encouraged to explore the local area, tranquil location in the shadow of the Himalayas.

KATHMANDU
After breakfast, leave for the Kathmandu city tour. Visit Swoyambhunath, Kathmandu Durbar and Patan city Durbar. The four seeing eyes of Swoyambhunath Stupa watches over the valley from 77-m high hillock situated on western side. This most glorious Stupa in the world is one of the holiest Buddhist sites in Nepal.
Kathmandu Durbar Square is a complex of palaces, courtyards and temples, built between 12th & 18th Centuries, and used to be the seat of ancient Malla Kings. Patan City Durbar Square is an enchanting mélange of Palace buildings, artistic courtyards and graceful pagoda temples. Rest of the evening is free for leisure.
Optional Activity: Take a small flight to get the aerial view of Mt. Everest. (Additional charges applicable)

KATHMANDU
After breakfast, visit Dakshinkali Temple, which is devoted to Goddess Kali and has the idol's right foot on Lord Shiva's chest. This is unique because the Goddess typically lays her right foot on the chest, not her left.
Visit Pashupatinath temple in the Afternoon. Nepal's most sacred pilgrimage site, in the complex there are statues, shrines, and temples devoted to different deities in addition to linga of Shiva, who is the presiding deity of this temple.
Visit Boudhanath later, which is among the largest stupas in South Asia and has become the focal point of Tibetan Buddhism in Nepal. Rest of the evening is free for leisure.

KATHMANDU
Morning after breakfast visits the Chandragiri hilltop is rich in both natural beauty and cultural value. From up there, one can see the entire Kathmandu valley. Also visit at The Bhaleshwar Mahadev Temple, which has a pleasant, antique vibe, stands at the Chandragiri Hill to reflect the region's cultural richness.
One of the more well-known stories from Hindu mythology has a relation to the location. According to legend, the God of Destruction dragged Sati's corpse around the universe after she committed suicide by plunging into the fire to protest her father's insults of Shiva, and the forehead portion of the goddess fell just here atop Chandragiri Hill which is worshipped as a Shaktipeeth temple.
In the evening we encourage you to explore the local market in Kathmandu offers a wide selection of Nepalese handicrafts.
